Three PBMs now dominate 80 percent of the market, creating an unfair monopoly. It’s time to pass PBM Reform so that savings and discounts go where they belong – to the patient.
Effective PBM Reform means:
- Delinking the price of prescription drugs from PBM compensation;
- Creating more transparency in PBM pricing and compensation practices
- Requiring PBMs to share their savings from manufacturer rebates by passing those savings on to the patients and plan sponsors
