PILMA commends Congress for passing landmark legislation that will put union men and women to work updating our nation’s infrastructure. This bill will put the safest, best trained, and highest-skilled workers on the job site building the roads, bridges and other infrastructure that will help the biopharmaceutical industry deliver needed medicines to patients. At the same time, skilled union craft workers have proven to be an essential part of the drive to bring crucial treatments, vaccines, and cures to patients worldwide by constructing biopharmaceutical facilities here in the United States. We thank President Biden for his forthcoming signature on this critical legislation that will create thousands of jobs for union members.
